As you may know Granite countertops are the preference of choice these days due to their durability and beautiful rich colors. Granite countertops also add a significant expense when taking on a remodeling project.

When choosing Granite the one thing homeowners know is that it is more expensive than other types of countertop surfaces such as Formica, tile, solid surface and concrete. Installation of granite countertops

Unless you have worked with stone or granite you shouldn’t attempt to install these types of surfaces yourself. Most of the cut countertop pieces can weigh several hundred pounds and many of the finer details that are done in the shop are done so with special machines.

On-site repairs and specialty cuts can be done with special care using specific tools for the job such as cutting faucet holes, finishing off drop in stove holes or any dispensers that are needed and worse case if a slab is cracked it can be repaired using specialized epoxies.

We only use employees that are trained with a minimum of 5yrs experience on installations, being that we are a smaller company you get the attention that you deserve and want. While the prospects of doing the installation are difficult there are some things you can do to save cost and get your hands dirty if you are the do-it-yourself homeowner.

Here are few cost saving tips for you

To reduce some cost you can do the following:

  1. Remove the old countertops, any sinks, stove-top surfaces and any other demo needed for installation.
